Family business

Borghamns Stenförädling AB is a family business founded in 1951, with extensive experience in production and processing of various stone materials. Mats-Ola Ericsson is the third generation of business leaders. The company specializes heavily in two areas: skilled stone masonry works and production of dimension stone.

Our production plant in Borghamn, Sweden

We have a unique craftsmanship with two active stonemasons to ensure a good quality even when it comes to advanced stone masonry work. To meet construction industry demands for tight tolerances, good quality and short delivery times, we invest continually in new technology for efficient production.

Borghamns Stenförädling AB is quarrying limestone and Kolmården marble and then refines mainly stone from our own quarries. In Borghamn we are quarrying light-grey and grey-brown Borghamn-limestone, and in Oxåker we are quarrying Kolmårdsmarmor Ox witch then is refined to floor tiles, stairs, window sills, countertops, wall tiles, garden stone, etc. Borghamns Stenförädling AB produces around 10-12000 m² refined stone, mainly to Scandinavia as a market but also some exports outside the Nordic countries.
